What's Hot and What's... Not.

What's Not: Ugg boots
Let's face it-Uggs are ugg-ly. There is no doubt about it. They make everyone's foot look like a size 10, which is not typically the desired effect when shopping for shoes. They are severely overpriced and although they're warm, is it really necessary to wear them with everything in your closet? They're warm, they're comfortable, but are they worth it?
What's Hot: Sleeping in your boyfriend's clothes
I do not know what it is about a guy's clothes, but they always seem to be so much more comfortable than a girl's clothes. Wearing them to bed and around the dorms is completely fine. As long as your boyfriend's clothes are not the only things you ever wear, you should be fine.
What's Not: Wearing the same clothes two days in a row
While this seems like common sense, you would be surprised. A walk of shame is bad enough without committing to it for a full day. If you think you are going to be in a compromising situation please bring a change of clothes. It is always better to be seen carrying an overnight bag than to be walking down Chancellor's Walk in a dress and pumps from the night before. Even if people do not know who you are, they will know more about your personal life than you would probably ever want to share.
College is a stressful and busy time for everyone but a little work goes a long way. Hitting the snooze button one less time in the morning or throwing on jeans instead of formless sweatpants can make a difference. We live in a beautiful city and go to school on a beautiful campus-let us make the extra effort to make our student body equally as presentable.
